IT. Core Group Constituted and 2 nos. of meetings held on 2nd and 7th of January 2013
As per recommendations of ISAP Review Committee on 19th December 2012, Chief Engineer ( World Bank Projects, Odisha) the following Members are nominated. Members:- Sarbashree 1. Internal Code Revision Committee Constituted to review and deliberate RSID Consultant’s draft reports.
Internal OPWD Code and Manual Revision Committee has been Constituted by E.I.C.( Civil), Odisha to look after the draft codes and manual as proposed by the RSID Consultant, M/s ICTPL- GT-APL . The following members shall periodically review the draft OPWD codes and Manual of the Consultant’s deliverables clause-wise which shall be in conformity with Central and other State’s PWD codes and Manual. 1. The Stake Holders’ Workshop on Development of Road Sector Strategy and Policy of Odisha will be held on 9th November 2012. This workshop is intended to generate a general framework of the proposed road policy of Government of Odisha for 20 years

Individual Consultant for Facilitating Implementation of Institutional Strengthening Components of OSRP, engaged by PMU.
Mr. V. Murahari Reddy has been engaged by PMU as Individual Consultant for facilitating Implementation of Institutional Strengthening Components of OSRP. Sri Reddy, after his Retirement as Engineer-in-Chief (R&B) from Government of Andhra Pardesh in 2002, has been functioning as Individual Consultant to World Bank and other external funding agencies.

PMU Official attends training on HDM-4
Sri A.K. Sahoo, Assistant Engineer (Civil) of PMU (OSRP) has attended the training programme on “International Program on Dissemination on HDM-4” at CRRI, New Delhi w. e. f. 8th October to 19th October 2012.

The contract of Sri Aloke kumar Dey, Social Development Specialist (individual Consultant) for Ph-I roads in PMU has been extended upto 13th October, 2013.

Social Development Specialist of World Bank Visits OSRP
Mr. Satya Mishra, Social Development Specialist of World Bank visited on 25th and 26th October and held intensive discussions with Chief Engineer (World Bank Projects) and Social Unit regarding Resettlement and Rehabilitation in Jagatpur-Chandbali road and Ph-I roads.

PMU Official Attended the Training on "Managing Land Acquisition Resettlement and Rehabilitation for a vibrant stake holder environment” at ASCI.
Sri B.C.Tripathy, Executive Engineer-II, PMU and Sri M.K. Mohanty , Deputy Secretary to Govt., Works Department attended the training programme on "Managing Land Acquisition Resettlement and Rehabilitation for a vibrant stake holder environment” at ASCI, Hyderabad,from 24.09.2012 to 28.09.2012.

World Bank Lifts Suspension of Loan.
On the basis of substantial compliance of the actions by the PMU and Government, the World Bank has lifted the suspension of loan on OSRP (Loan no.7577-IN) with effect from October 9, 2012.
