ISAP Review committee discusses on Draft Road sector Policy and Main roads funding options

The ISAP Review committee was convened on 18.03.2014 to discus on i) Draft report on Road sector Policy and requirement of its implementations , ii) Preliminary report on study of Main roads funding options and possible road funds and iii) Working paper on short to medium term Organization Restructuring proposed by the RSID consultant of OSRP. EIC-cum-Secretary chaired the meeting. The committee expressed its concern on the present findings and assessment on Preliminary report on study of Main roads funding options and possible road funds, which they suggested, need for further discussions followed by resubmission. However the committee opined its acceptance on the present Draft report on Road sector Policy and requirement of its implementations and Working paper on short to medium term Organization Restructuring.
