Orientation programme for R&R Teams in Jagatpur-Chandbali road
A two day training programme was held in PMU on 30.01.2013 to orient the teams for implementation of R&R activities in P04 A (Ch 0/00 to 49/00 Km) and P04 B (Ch 49/00 Km to 106/00 Km). the programme was conducted by CART, NNGO and inaugurated by Er. N.K. Pradhan, Chief Engineer, World Bank Projects, Executive Engineer, Kendrapara (R&B) Division alongwith Assistant Engineers and Junior Engineers, R&B of Cuttack, Kedrapara and Bhadrak Divisions Social Mobilisation Officers, Community Councellors, Data Entry Operators, Nodal NGOs functions, Social Development Advisor, Social Development Specialist, Welfare Extension Officer of PMU, Sri B.C. Tripathy and Si M.R. Misra, Executive Engineers, PMU and L.B. Hota, SDA, PMU explained different aspects of PMU explained different aspects R&R activities. Teams were constituted; exercises were conducted in R&R entitlements.

Joint Press Conference by RUSS Consultant
A press conference has been held on 21 Jan 2013 with RUSS Consultant, M/s MDRA for raising State wide awareness among the Road Users and different Stakeholders. The SE, ISAP Mr. R. R. Bohidar and EE. Mr. B C Tripaty , PMU have attended the Conference from OSRP side. The Consultant have informed regarding their Survey Schedules of Base line Road Users perception study.

OPWD Code Revision
The RSID Consultant has submitted the draft OPWD Code and Manual in a single copy for review and acceptance. The same has been shared with the concerned Chief Engineer and sent to Executive Engineers of R & B wing through E-mail for review and comments which shall be discussed in ISAP Review Committee in future. Sr DAO of PMU had furnished his comments on draft OPWD Code & Manual on 22.1.2013

4th- IT Core Group Meeting
The 4th- IT Core Group Meeting will be held on 13th February, 2013 at 12 Noon in the Data Room , Ground Floor of Nirman Soudha, Bhubaneswar. All members have been intimated to attend the aforesaid meeting in time and venue as mentioned.

ISAP Facilitator Mr. V. Murahari Reddy’s visit to OSRP, BBSR HQ
Mr Reddy visited OSRP Bhubaneswar Headquarters in the last week of January 2013 and conducted meeting with CEs and EIC(Civil) in the Nirman Soudha . As per the Meeting outcome, the Chief Engineers of Works Department and Addl. Secretary, Works have been assigned 10 different ISAP Tasks. The Nodal Officers in the rank of EEs of this Office will liaison with the Concerned CE and furnish their inputs to CE, WBP. The ISAP Activity Matrix is attached herewith for reference.

RUSS consultant to Organize Joint Press Conference on Road User Satisfaction Survey with PMU.
M/s MDRA have intimated to organize a Press Conference jointly with PMU on 15th of January 2013 prior to conducting base-line Road User Satisfaction Survey. Accordingly Posters both in English and Odia (Vernacular Language) have been prepared by the Consultant which shall be distributed along the Road Corridors for raising awareness among the general public road users in the proximity of survey roads.

Road Safety week observed.
The 24th National Road Safety Week was organized by Nodal NGO, CART with effective from 1st-7th January, 2013 in the O/o the E.I.C.( Civil), Odisha, Nirman Soudha, Bhubaneswar. The observation of the Road Safety week is annexed herewith.

ISAP facilitator, Mr. M. Reddy to visit Bhubaneswar on 20th January 2013.
Mr. Murahari Reddy, the ISAP facilitator of PMU/ ISAP Cell is visiting Bhubaneswar from 20th to 26th January 2013. During his visit, he shall interact with following Consultants, I. RSID Consultant : M/s ICT PL –GT-APL in association with M/s Arkitechno Consultants Pvt. LTD II. IT-ICT-MIS Consultant : M/s CSM Pvt . Ltd. III. Odisha Asset Management Consultant : M/s LASA in joint venture with M/s LEA Accordingly, the Consultants have been communicated via E-mail by this Office.
